Nuclear medicine is the use of radioactive substances in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Functional (functional) imaging is performed in diseases related to almost every organ system in nuclear medicine departments. Diagnostic tests are performed with scintigraphic imaging of thyroid, bone, heart, kidney and many other organs and diseases, but also treatment of certain tumor and inflammatory diseases, especially thyroid diseases.
