Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation

Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation is a specialty that includes the diagnosis and treatment of physical and functional disorders in neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems. Physical therapy means the use of physical agents and techniques to treat musculoskeletal disorders.

Physical therapy is the application of physical agents from outside the body. Applied physical therapy agents do not cause any lesions or scars in our body. The aim of physical therapy is to reduce or eliminate the pain, to regain the daily activities of the patient, to make the functions of the organs healthy and to take their place in the society as an independent individual.

Rehabilitation is the treatment for the regeneration of lost mobility, both born and later. The aim of rehabilitation is to bring the patient to the highest possible level in physical, psychological, social, occupational and non-occupational subjects and education, despite environmental limitations and physiological-anatomical disorders.
